1924 Rolls Royce
Style : 7 seat limousine
Colour: Burgundy and black
Interior: Dark red upholstery
Engine: 7.5 litre engine (Straight 6)
Gears: 4 speed crash gearbox
Built at the Rolls Royce factory in Springfield, America and first registered in New York in 1924, the body built and fitted by ‘Pickwick’.
Little known of its history until it was sent to Australia as a promotions car for a large business venture, returning to America some years later and sold into private hands in the early nineties. It came to England, being purchased by an Irishman living in Birmingham who used it for U.K. and continental touring.
Purchased by the present owner in 2000 and improved to its present standard.
Runs and drives well (Brakes on rear axle only).
Horribly complicated to work on and grossly over engineered – but we love it!
